A Mobile Compactor is a high-density storage system designed to save valuable floor space by eliminating multiple fixed aisles. It is essentially a set of storage racks mounted on a movable base, which slides over tracks installed on the floor. The mobile base units can be manually operated or mechanised, allowing individual or multiple racks to move with ease and reveal only one or two access aisles as required.
Mobile Compactors are ideal for storing files, records, inventory, spare parts, tools, or even heavy goods, depending on the application. Their smart design makes them suitable for areas where space is limited but storage capacity is high.
How It Works
The mobile compactor system consists of fixed racks mounted on mobile carriages that move on rails installed on the floor. The movement is either:
